Imphal: Manipur government has prohibited the flying of drones in the city as part of security measures ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Manipur on Tuesday. An order issued by district magistrate (Imphal West) Th Kirankumar on Sunday, “reiterate that any unmanned aircraft system operation (drones), including nano and micro category, shall be prohibited from 8 am from 4th January, 2021 (Tuesday), onwards till the time of departure of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India from the State.” tnn
